Post Jan 28, 2010 #1 2010-01-28T18:29 This was a four day quick build (started Monday and finished today), tis a Hobbyboss kit after all so there was no problems with the build but I chose this particular scheme for no other reason than the pilot has the same surname as moi.
The Fw 190D-10 was based on the airframe of the Fw 190A-10,this type were powered by a Jumo 213C-1 engine and a Junkers VS-9 three-bladed wooden propeller.The vertical stabilizer were same large one on the Ta 152.The D-10 project were abandoned because of the problems of the new engine in April,1944. Not mistake filled like the Tamiya D-9 which requires a lot of aftermarket or mods or a complicated headache to build like the Eduard D series. Definitely recommend the HB series
